ESFRI Monitoring of Landmarks - 3rd batch: Info Workshop for External Experts

In the context of the ESFRI Monitoring of the third batch of Landmarks that is now in progress, ESFRI organises an online Information Workshop for External Experts, on 7 May 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST. With the Monitoring Panels for each Landmark in the third batch already established, the workshop aims to inform the External Experts participating in the Monitoring process, answer any open questions and clarify the next steps to be taken. The aim of the workshop is reach a joint understanding, to clarify the steps to be taken now and to answer some open questions in advance. The methodology and the organisation of the Monitoring process, refined based on the outcomes of the first batch, will also be presented.


The public Report for the first batch of Landmarks, the updated version of the Public Guide and all related documents for the process are published on the webpage Monitoring of ESFRI Landmarks.

Participation in this event is available by invitation only and is limited to representatives of third-batch Landmarks.

The aim of the workshop is reach a joint understanding among the Panels that are now being established, to clarify the steps to be taken now and to answer some open questions in advance.

The public Report for the first batch of Landmarks is available here, while the updated version of the public Guide for the process will be published on the ESFRI webpage Monitoring of ESFRI Landmarks in a couple of weeks.

In view of the ESFRI Monitoring of the second batch of Landmarks that is about to start, ESFRI organises an online Information Workshop for Monitoring Panels, on 20 September 2023, from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST. The aim of the workshop is reach a joint understanding among the Panels that are now being established, to clarify the steps to be taken now and to answer some open questions in advance.

With the Monitoring Panels for each Landmark in the first batch already established, the workshop aims to inform the External Experts participating in the Monitoring process, answer any open questions and clarify the next steps to be taken.

ESFRI Information Workshop on Monitoring Panels

In the context of the  Monitoring of ESFRI Landmarks that is now in progress, ESFRI organizes an online Information Workshop for Monitoring Panels, on 30 November, 2022.

With the Monitoring Panels for each Landmark in the first batch already established, the workshop aims to answer some open questions in advance and clarify the next steps to be taken, so as to reach a joint understanding among the Panels and facilitate the Monitoring process.

ESFRI Kick-off Workshop on Monitoring of Landmarks

In 2022, ESFRI will start the monitoring of the ESFRI Landmarks, with the objective to complete in the next two years. In view of this process, an ESFRI Kick-off Workshop on Monitoring of Landmarks will take place on September 16th, 2022,  as a hybrid event, at the Royal Belgian Institute (Museum) of Natural Sciences in Brussels, Belgium,

The Workshop will present the final methodology and organisation of the ESFRI Landmark monitoring process, based on the outcomes of the EoE Workshop on Monitoring of Landmarks that took place on April 5th, 2022. This Kick-off Workshop will provide the opportunity to meet and to exchange further questions.

This workshop is addressed to Landmarks and ERICs and participation is available by invitation only.
