Czech Social Science Data Archive Lead (CESSDA ERIC), Director of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic
Director of the Institute of Sociology at the Czech Academy of Sciences. He graduated a Ph.D. in sociology at Charles University in Prague. In his research he focuses on the survey methodology, data quality, and the study of political attitudes. He also actively contributes into shaping the landscape of research infrastructures in Czechia and Europe. From 1998 to 2021 he led the Czech Social Science Data Archive (CSDA), a national hub for social research data and the Czech node in the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA ERIC). In 2022-2023 he was responsible for the CESSDA Strategy Pillar on Widening and Outreach as one of the four CESSDA work groups leaders. He is a member of the Social Sciences and Humanities WG at ESFRI and a member of the Council for Research Infrastructures at the Ministry of Education, Youths and Sports of the Czech Republic. Since 2012, Dr. Krejčí has coordinated Czech participation in the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP).
