DANUBIUS-RI Becomes a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC)

The European Commission has officially granted ERIC status to DANUBIUS-RI (www.danubius-ri.eu), marking a major milestone in its development since being included in the ESFRI Roadmap in 2016.

As a pan-European infrastructure dedicated to River-Sea Systems, DANUBIUS-ERIC provides integrated, state-of-the-art facilities and services to advance research, enhance resilience to climate change, and support sustainable management of vital ecosystems.   

With Romania as the host country and the participation of Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Moldova, the Netherlands, and the UK, DANUBIUS-ERIC offers valuable support to scientists, policy makers, innovators, and young researchers across Europe and beyond.
