ESFRI outlines its strategic role and future priorities
The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) has just published a document outlining its strategic role and future priorities, in response to the rapidly evolving European research and innovation infrastructure ecosystem.
Building on more than two decades of experience in coordinating research infrastructures across Europe, the document highlights the need for a holistic approach that connects research, technology, data, and digital infrastructures. It identifies key priorities for the coming years, including strengthening strategic foresight, consolidating the infrastructure ecosystem, contributing to the governance of a future EU coordination framework, and maximizing the impact of ESFRI’s methodologies and activities.
