The strategic role of ESFRI back on stage - 94th Forum Plenary outcomes published

The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) has published the key outcomes of its 94th Forum Meeting, held online on 11–12 December 2025.

During the meeting, ESFRI Delegates discussed major strategic developments, including progress on the ESFRI Roadmap 2026, the implementation of the European Strategy on Research and Technology Infrastructures, the definition of priority actions for ESFRI, and preparations for the next ESFRI Stakeholder Forum Meetup.

The Forum also approved the appointment of the new Chair of the ESFRI Strategic Working Group on Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), reinforcing ESFRI’s commitment to inclusive and interdisciplinary research infrastructures.

The outcomes reaffirm ESFRI’s strategic role in shaping a coherent, sustainable, and impactful European Research Infrastructure ecosystem.
