Dr. René Martins has been synchrotron beamline scientist and user of neutron sources and synchrotrons for more than a decade in the field of materials science and engineering before joining the Research and Innovation Directorate General of the European Commission in 2011. Since 2019 he is part of the team dealing with research infrastructures.
